George J. Martini, 86 of Falls Church, VA, passed away on June 26, 2015. Born in Pennsylvania, he served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Victor. George is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marina; son, Christopher George (Beth); grandchildren, Benjamin, Zachary, Lyndsay, and Joshua; brother, Eugene B. (Barbara); sister, Mary Murphy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 W Broad St., Falls Church, VA on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 5-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 103 N. Spring St., Falls Church, VA, on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 1pm. Burial will take place on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 9:00am at Quantico National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James or St. Philip Catholic Church, or the Oncology Department of the Virginia Hospital Center.
