

He is survived by sons George Edward MacDougall (30) and Colin Hall MacDougall (27), and Carol Noyes MacDougall (59) and Carine Drouin (52). He is also survived by Barbara Park MacDougall, Douglas Edward MacDougall, Hallie MacDougall Quirk, and Susan Brown MacDougall. Gordon was a loving father and friend. He served in the Legislative Branch from 1984 to 1987 and subsequently as a consultant to nonprofit organizations working to improve the lives of disadvantaged individuals, families, and communities. He was an avid fisherman, skier, and golfer. His greatest joy was time spent with family and friends, including serving as a “Big Brother.”
Gordon’s life will be honored at a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Arlington, Virginia.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, Gordon be honored in the form of donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org).
