Haley graduated from Langley High School in 2016. After high school, she took classes at Northern Virginia Community College and worked at various restaurants, including Brio, Coastal Flats, and the Buffalo Wing Factory. Most recently, worked as an administrative assistant at the Tysons Corner Collision Center.
Haley had a rare and beautiful gift: she made others feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for. She loved with her whole heart, expressing that love through thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gifts—each chosen with creativity, care, and intention. Whether she knew someone well or had just met them, Haley treated everyone with the same genuine care and thoughtfulness, always going out of her way to help.
Creativity was at the heart of who Haley was. She brought beauty into the world through her amazing handmade crafts, inventive food and drink recipes, and the thoughtful way she chose decorations to make any space feel personal and special. Everything she did reflected her vibrant spirit and thoughtful nature.
Haley also carried a rare and beautiful curiosity. A lifelong reader and learner, she found joy in books, meaningful conversations, and exploring new places. She approached life with wonder—always eager to learn and understand the world and the people around her.
Haley is lovingly remembered by her parents, John and Liesl; her sister, Hannah; and her brother, Andrew. She was the adored granddaughter of Clint and Adrienne Curtis, June Curtis, and Chuck and Linda Anderson. She will be missed deeply by her extended family—grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins—and by many dear friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Haley’s life will be held on August 23rd at Holy Trinity Church in McLean, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, her family welcomes donations to the Humane Society of Fairfax County, a reflection of Haley’s compassionate heart.
