Dung was born in Saigon, Vietnam on August 10, 1944. A successful attorney in Vietnam, Dung immigrated to the United States in 1978. As an immigrant, Dung supported his family by working as a janitor. Through his hard work and determination, he started his own janitorial company, National Maintenance Services, Inc. with his wife, Mai, in 1983.
Dung is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Mai, three daughters, Christine Piersall (Trey), Angela Nguyen (Jason) and Victoria Hopewell (David), his mother-in-law, Maria Tran, his brother, Kim Phung Nguyen (Jackie), his numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews, and four grandchildren, Liliane, Benjamin, Penelope and Cody.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Rosa, Jhosvi and Amilca for the love and care that they have provided him.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025, at National Funeral Home 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia, with Funeral services and cremation following thereafter at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are by National Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Parkinson’s Foundation or a charity of your choice.
