Joanne E. Roach, of Falls Church, Va., formerly of Boston Massachusetts, passed away in her sleep on May 8, 2015. She is survived by her daughter Brianna Clarke, son Brent Clarke, sister Patricia Gill and brothers Michael and Robert Roach and father of Brianna & Brent, Daniel Clarke. Joanne was a retired Medical Dosimetrist having trained and worked at Stanford University. Joanne was known for her outgoing personality. She loved to celebrate all holidays and turned her home into a Caroler’s museum during the Christmas holiday. She was a passionate Boston Red Sox fan. She loved cruises and going to Disney World. Joanne will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
The family will welcome friends from 11:30 until 1 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Murphy Funeral Home, Falls Church, Burial will immediately follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Falls Church.
