Cousin Jody, You were the best! Not only as a cousin but also as a good friend. We were privileged to have known you well for almost your whole life. You were intelligent, funny, involved and most importantly a great family member. You have always meant a lot to us and we will always treasure your friendship.

Jody was one of a kind and I feel fortunate that I got to know her. Her intelligence, humor, and generosity were an inspiration. My deepest condolences to her husband, children, and grandbabies.

Jody was a wonderful boss, mentor and friend.  She taught me so much ad helped me to become the leader I am today.  Her passion for helping foster economic growth and self sufficiency cannot be matched.  She will be truly missed.

Jody was a mother  to all of us in this industry. She gave birth to the most important program in this industry. She cultivated 200 organizations across the country to lend hundreds of millions of  dollars to over 50,000 entrepreneurs.  She was  a goddess in  this field and was magical in her candor, loving in her guidance, and relentless in her pursuit of micro credit for all. Like many others in the microenterprise field, I first met Jody at the start of the SBA Microloan Program, and I feel lucky to have spent as many years as I did in her force field. She was smart, funny and deeply commited to  making the program work. She was a great ally to all of us. Her wisdom, advice and humor carried us through some challenging moments and gave us a lot to celebrate. She will be missed by many.

Jody was also upbeat and had a wonderful smile. I will always remember this. My prayers and thoughts are with her family and friends through these difficult days.

Jody was always an inspiration to me.  Unfailingly upbeat, friendly to all, funny, diligent in her work and determined to live life to the fullest despite her illness.

Jody was one of the best bunco babes ever!  :-))  She always had a smile on her face and love in her heart!  Her advice was priceless. I will miss her dearly!  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this time.

I have had the joy of working with Jody since she began the SBA Micro-enterprise Program.  She made participation in the program a special experience, as she cared for her groups and for the meaning of their work in communities.  She was wonderfully frank and someone who you feel fortunate to have encountered in life's journey.

I remember many fun times with Jody in Bayonne and those continued on in our youth as our families moved from place to place.  She had a wonderful laugh and a smile that would light up a room.  Though we lost touch over the last few years our mother's kept us appraised of all that went on in her life.  I am so happy that she "got behind the wheel" and drove all the way to Texas to spend time with us.  She obviously had an abundance of love that she wanted to spread around the country before her passing.  She touched us all.

Jody's jovial humor was second only to her generous spirit.  Jody lit up a room in an authentic, uplifting way.  Her love and legacy lives on in her amazing family and all of us whose lives she touched.

I am so sorry to hear of Jody's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. I had the privilege of working with Jody at USDA-RD. She was a wonderful person and will be missed.

Even though I didn't know my cousin Jody personally, I do know that she fought hard and long against leaving her family. God was good to allow her family to have her as long as possible. Rest in peace. My condolences to the family.

Smiling, laughing and loving, this is how we remember Jody! She blessed our family gatherings with joy!

I will keep the talks and the secrets that we shared close to my heart and I will remember your smile and advice that you gave at times when it was really needed to get through the day. I appreciate the friendship that we had, maybe we will see each other in the next life.

Though really an acquaintance,I count Jody a dear friend.  Highly competent, she perfectly combined her no-nonsense approach to work with a liberal dose of dry wit.  Her infectious smile and authenticity drew people to her.  Her mission was to help as many people do the best they could achieve.  Jody was an inspiration for many and a model for all. My deepest regrets to her family.
