Klee Solomon Orion Simmons accomplished a lot in his short life. He was the beloved son of Jeanne Simmons and Stephen Beltz, and loving husband of Maureen Kittie Simmons. He was the brother of David, Lauryn, Leah, Lisa, and Linda Beltz and the “old” Uncle to all their children, Brendan, Ben, Daniel, Tzipora, Elisheva, Rose, Nathan and his long distance nieces and nephews in Israel.
Klee graduated from Washington Lee High School in Arlington, Virginia, and earned a degree in Engineering from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a movin’ on up Patent Examiner at the Patent and Trade Office. Klee made friends wherever he went. He called Jesse, Don (DP), Ron and Alex his brothers and Maggie his sister, too. He was witty, smart, creative, loving, helpful, and independent. He was a voracious reader, loved cooking, ultimate frisby, biking, poetry, bowling and was a champion of League of Legends with his friends. Whatever he put his mind to, he did it with gusto. He will be sorely missed by us all.
Family and friends will gather at National Funeral Home, Falls Church, VA 22042 on Thursday, August 13 from 6-8 pm and will gather for the celebration of Klee’s life on Friday, August 14 at 10:30 am.
