Marian “Ginger” Kleinguenther (Mozingo), age 67, was a long-time resident of Rockville, MD and grew up in Alexandria, VA. Ginger moved to Boca Raton, FL in 2018 to spend her final years close to her son and his wife in the warmth of the Florida sun. On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, Ginger slipped into her peaceful state with her son at her side feeling the love knowing that her children loved her very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Kleinguenther Jr., and her parents, Howard Mozingo and Faith “Faye” Miller. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Robert, William, and Shaun Mozing and her granddaughter Ciara Long. Surviving Ginger are her four children, John Littell, Laurie Harris, Brandy Mallette, and Dustin Kleinguenther; six grandchildren, Brittany, John, and Cody Littell, Kiera Long, Tristan Bisogno, and Austin Kleinguenther; two great-grandchildren, Lilly & Logan; sister, Mary Beth Himes and brothers, Patrick and Michael Mozingo and Ray Miller; as well as her step sisters, Amber Sly and Cindy Saylor. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends will also greatly miss her.
When Ginger was young, she tried to live her life to the fullest, she laughed and danced and was full of spirit. She loved her children and those around her. She was the mom that opened her door to all the neighborhood kids, she fostered children to include her niece Katina Mabry, with whom she had a special bond. Ginger loved the beautiful views from the snowcapped mountains in Colorado to the cultural differences in Turkey. The ocean views from her condo in Ocean City, where she spent many nights at Spinner and Hubcaps singing karaoke with anyone who would sing alongside her to the beautiful Island of Oahu in Hawaii with whom she made an eternal friend Carol Stevens who is now enjoying the most beautiful sunsets with her.
Ginger was a very proud mother and boasted about her children to whoever would listen. She loved her grandchildren and tried to be the most loving Nana that she could be. Her family was everything to her, as she was to her family.
