On Monday, Dec. 4, 2023 Monica B. Piolunek passed away peacefully at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Born May 29, 1926 in Boston, MA. She was predeceased by her husband, LTC Chester J. Piolunek (USA, Ret.), two sisters and a brother.
She is survived by her 3 children, Chester Piolunek, Jr. (Theo); Dori Boyer (Bernie); and Carol Keeth (Bill), and 4 grandchildren, Monica, Sarah, Charlie and Eddie. Our family will not be the same without our loving Mom/Mum-Mum.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Falls Church on Dec. 28 at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Capital Area Food Bank
Interment will occur at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
