Nancy Noreen Murray

Nancy Noreen Murray, 91, passed through heaven's gate at home in Shalimar, FL of natural causes. A loving and devoted wife and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John Edmund Murray; her daughter, Nancy Jacqueline Suchomel and son, Michael James Murray. She is survived by her sons, John Edmund Murray Jr. of Shalimar, FL ; Timothy James Murray of San Antonio, TX and daughter, Mary Virginia Murray of Sitka, Alaska; grandchildren, Cynthia Suchomel of Albuquerque, NM; Frank Suchomel of Austin, TX and Sarah Cordova of Port Alexander, AK as well as great-grandchildren: William, Alexandra, Teagan and Delilah. Our Mother will be greatly missed by family and friends in her birth place of Montgomery, PA, McLean, VA and Shalimar, FL.Nancy Murray retired from the Pentagon in 1986 as a civil service staff manager with many meritorious awards for outstanding achievement. Her career also included service with the U.S. Surgeon General's office, Department of Investigative Defense and the EPA in Washington DC.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 6 at 12 noon at graveside in National Memorial Cemetery in Falls Church, VA.
