It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Pamela Anne Givens, who left us peacefully on July 8th at the age of seventy-four.
Pam was born on July 22, 1950 in Frankfurt, Germany. She was a woman of strong faith, great strength, compassion, and unwavering support for those she loved. Her life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and an endless love for her family and friends.
Married in 1972, she and Todd shared a bond that was built on faith, mutual respect, deep love, and enduring companionship. Together, they navigated life's challenges with grace and resilience, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. She was a devoted mother to Wendi, Rebecca, and Mary-Anna and a cherished nana to Eleanor, Anne, Emery, Rowan, Ava, and Emmet. Their home was a place of warmth and comfort, where many memories were made and cherished.
Pam's faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and guidance throughout her life. She was a devoted prayer warrior, consistently seeking God in prayer and steadfastly trusting His promises. Her faith shaped her actions and her interactions with those around her, offering comfort and hope in times of need.
Throughout her life, Pam dedicated herself to nurturing and caring for others. She believed in the power of giving and worked tirelessly to make a positive impact on the lives of others. She leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and an indomitable spirit. Though she may no longer be with us, the lessons she imparted and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial service will be held on July 16th at 9:30 AM at National Funeral Home (7842 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042), where family and friends will gather to celebrate her remarkable life.
We will miss her dearly, but we find solace in knowing that she is now at peace, watching over us with the same love and care she showed throughout her life.
Rest in peace, Pammy/Mom/Nana. You will forever be in our hearts.
