Pete Harry Karageorge, 82 of Falls Church, Virginia passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014. He was born in Viniani Evrytanias, Greece and emigrated to the United States in 1948. He had lived in Northern Virginia since 1959, where he was a restauranteur for decades. He was a member of St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church and an avid gardener all his life. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Maria Karageorge; son, Harry P. Karageorge (Eleni); daughter, Kathy J. Karageorge Buddendeck (Dave); 3 grandsons, Peter J., Peter H. and Andrew C.; 2 granddaughters, Maria E. and Alexandra D.; sister, Ermione Spanos (John) and many loving nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Everly Community Funeral Care, 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, Virginia 22044 from 6 to 8 PM and a Trisagion Prayer will be recited at 7 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 3149 Glen Carlyn Road, Falls Church, Virginia 22041 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at National Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church.
