Petryk Alyn Bukowski

Petryk Alyn Bukowski is remembered and loved. He was the apple of Granny Colson’s eye & Meema would never say it but he was her favorite. He had Scarlet fever as a child. He was a gorgeous little boy with a ready smile and blonde hair that radiated white. He had an adventure living in Alaska with a friend and working at a cannery.

He could play a mean set of tennis. We all knew how much he enjoyed dancing and singing to music. He was a cancer survivor twice. He had a strong work ethic and worked as a driver, painter and manager at a dog care center which he loved.

His Dog, Victor, was his constant companion. He had a wicked sense of humor, a sensitive soul and was an amazing caretaker of Da for over 10 years. We will miss him deeply and pray that he is at peace. He is survived by his beloved father, Henryk Bukowski, his seven siblings and their spouses and multiple nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Public Viewing will take place at Murphy Funeral Homes in Falls Church, VA at 11:00 am on Friday, 11/18. Donations may be made to an animal shelter of your choosing in lieu of flowers. Internment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
