Robert Warren Birge

May 20, 1957 - May 31, 2014

Bob died with his family by his side on May 31, 2014 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA. He will be terribly missed by his wife, Kathy, and his daughters, Emily and Annie. Bob is survived by his brother, Tom and his wife Donna along with their sons, Thomas and James; his sister, Lisa Dalby and her husband Fleet and his son John, and his sister, Nancy Jacobs and her husband Willie and their children, Willie and Carolyn. He was much loved by his aunt, Fran Birge and her sons Ry, John and David along with their families.

Bob’s mother, Carolyn Cassedy Birge and his father, Thomas W. C. Birge, Sr. preceded him in death.

His family will be greeting friends at Murphy’s Funeral Home, 1102 W Broad Street, Falls Church, VA 22046 at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 followed by a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in his memory to Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation or The Animal Welfare League of Arlington.
