

Bob was born on March 2, 1936, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to Willard Dutt, Jr and Arlene E. (Mitman) Dutt.
He was preceded in death by both parents, his brother, Darvin L. Dutt, and longtime friend, Robert Glick.
Bob is survived by his sister, Shirley Stacy; three nephews, David Dutt, Jeffery Dutt, and Scott Stacy; their wives, Cindy, Nance, and Kelley Lowe; great nieces, Casey Dutt, Katy Dutt, and Riley Stacy; as well as longtime friend, Kenneth Cahoon.
Bob was a graduate of Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where he performed in the Liberty band, several musical productions and the choral group.
Bob was drafted in the United States Army. After serving his country, he graduated from Moravian University. He was then hired by the United States Government to work in Washington, DC. During that time, he travelled extensively in his role with the Government Accounting Office, including a two-year assignment in Saigon. Fairfax, Virginia was his home for 40 years until he moved to Southern Pines, North Carolina where he lived at Gracious Living until his death.
Bob loved Broadway shows, opera, reading and travelling. Paris was his favorite city in the world.
There will be a graveside service on July 19, 2025, at the National Cemetery followed by a luncheon. Special memories of Bob will be shared at that time by family and friends.
Although Bob will no longer be physically present in our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire us to move forward in our own special ways to honor him. May his memory be a blessing to us all.
