Robert Keith Engel

On Friday, Oct. 10 at his home in McLean, VA. Born in Detroit, MI, he

is survived by his children, Adam and Adrianne Engel; sister and

brother-in-law, Marcia and Warren Black; brother and sister-in-law,

Gary and Annette Engel; niece and nephew, Lauren, Shannon, and

Brandon Engel. Bob is also survived by his significant other, Valerie

Corey, along with numerous family and friends.

After earning his BBA from Central Michigan University, Bob served

as a CPA and eventual partner of Miller, Engel & Tierney, LLP of

Rockville, MD for 40 years. Mr. Engel was heavily involved with youth

sports, and in addition to serving as treasurer of McLean Youth Inc.

(now MYA) for several years and being a member of the Langley HS

Boosters Club, he was also the respected coach of many, including of

his children and nieces.

The family welcomes guests to visit on Wed., Oct 15 from 2 to 4 and

6 to 8 PM, Murphy Funeral Home, Falls Church, VA. On Thurs., Oct.

16 a celebration of his life will be held at 2 PM, St. Luke Catholic Church,

McLean, VA.
