Robert “Bob” H. Hochberger, of Palm Harbor, FL passed away on April 22, 2021. He was 72 years old. Bob was born in Washington, DC to Adolph and Reba Hochberger on July 4, 1948. He was a 1967 graduate of Montgomery Blair High School, Silver Spring, MD, and went on to earn an Associate of Arts degree from Montgomery College, Rockville, MD. After starting his career at Motorola Communications and Electronics in Baltimore, MD, Bob relocated to Florida in 1986 to become the Manager of Communications for the City of St. Petersburg. Bob went on to become a sales manager at several companies including Sprint. Being a “people person”, Bob eventually found his niche in the real estate field where he excelled as a sales agent and Top Performer for Coldwell Banker. Bob’s hobbies included collecting model trains and vintage radios. He was an avid sports fan and cheered loudly for the Tampa Bay Bucs, Rays and Lightning. Bob loved public speaking and always felt at home with a microphone in his hand. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Kim Hochberger; beloved sons Brian Hochberger (Kerri), Eric Steinberg (Mindy), Jason Reynolds (Danielle), and Jayme Reynolds. He is the cherished grandfather of Zane Steinberg and Jacob and Jared Reynolds. He is the dear brother of Helene Mankowitz (and her husband Barry), and a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bob was an unforgettable friend to all and will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760 or a charity of your choice in his honor. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 12:00 pm at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls, Church, VA. A Celebration of Life will be held in Palm Harbor, Florida at a later date.
