Roberta Ann Raley, 86, of Vienna, VA, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025. Born on April 21, 1938 in Washington DC to the late Louis M. Butt and the late Marjorie E. Butt, Roberta was preceded in passing by her brother Louis Butt and her sister, Joan Wrublik, and is survived by her brother Thomas Butler. She is survived by her husband of almost 65 years James J. Raley, Jr; three children Kathleen (David Susman) Susman, Marjorie (Tony Treston) Raley, and James Raley, III; grandchildren Patrick, Melanie and Daniel Susman, and Michael Treston. She was deeply loved and enjoyed being with family. Roberta had tremendous artistic talent, painting delightful watercolors of family and natural landscapes in a wide variety of styles. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
