

Rosalind "Roz" B. Kuldell died peacefully in her sleep on Mon., Jan. 4, 2016 at Virginia Hospital Center with family members present. Born in Kenly, N.C., on Feb. 13, 1929, she was the middle child of James and Lula Boykin's nine. She completed high school and moved to Northern Virginia to work at the CIA, where she met her husband Douglas, who passed away in 1986. She retired after a long and honorable career that included positions around the world. Roz derived her greatest joy from working with her church family at Chesterbrook and Lewinsville Presbyterian churches.
Roz is survived by two sisters, Vonnie Nichols and Judy Talton, and her three children and their spouses: Matthew and Beckie Kuldell, Pam and Brent Landreth, and Lynn and Jim Mead. She was a loving grandmother to Heather Kuldell and her partner Tony Ware, Alexander Kuldell, Katrina Dennis and her husband Charles, Stephanie Cox and her husband Jonathan, Eric Kuldell, and April Arnts and her husband Todd. She delighted in watching the antics of her great-grandchildren (ages 1 year to 13 years) Jack Pinson, Rayna Dennis, Samantha Dennis, Lindsay Cox, Soleil Arnts, and Skyla Arnts.
Family and friends will celebrate her life at Lewinsville Presbyterian Church, 1724 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, Virginia at 10 a.m. Mon., Jan 11, 2016.
In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made in Roz’s name to any Cancer Foundation.
