Sandra Esther Millett

Sandra E. Millett of Vienna, Virginia passed away on February 18, 2024 at the age of 84. Sandra was born on October 7, 1939 in Providence, Rhode Island to Hazel and George O. Hawcroft. She graduated from Warwick Veterans High School in Warwick, Rhode Island and attended the Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing, where she became an RN, later working in the operating room on brain surgeries.

Sandra married Phillip G. Millett on July 6, 1963 and they celebrated 60 years of marriage on July 6, 2023. Sandra was Mom to Pam, Patti and Phil and the beloved "Grammy" of nine grandchildren (Phillip, April, Tricia, Megan, Thomas, George, Andy, Will and Rachel) and three great-grandchildren (Phillip, Arthur and Paul).

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Hazel and George, and by her brother George. Sandra is survived by her husband Phil, children Pam, Patti and Phil, grand and great-grandchildren and her brother Paul Hawcroft of Warwick, Rhode Island.

A visitation and funeral service will be held on March 11, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Veronica's Church, 3460 Centreville Road, Chantilly, VA, officiated by Father Dennis Kleinman. Burial will follow on March 12, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Fairfax Memorial Park, 9900 Braddock Road, Fairfax.
