

Sedgwick Lee Moss, beloved husband and father, passed away on October 22nd. He is predeceased by his wife Virginia R Moss, and survived by daughters Sally and Ginger Moss, son-in-law Jamie Crausman, grandchildren Adam and Jay Crausman, cousins Rudy and Betty Viener and Corinne Smith.
Sedge was born on February 10, 1932 in New Orleans LA and raised in Washington DC by his parents C. Sedgwick Moss and Abbie Lee Viener. He attended Washington & Lee University in Lexington VA, graduating in 1954 (as well as DCPS Janney, Deal and Wilson). He was married to Virginia for 67 years and they raised their family in Arlington VA.
He was a Travel Agent with American Airlines, Overseas, Gant and VIP Travel Agencies - retiring in 1993. He was an active member of numerous clubs in the area including the Metropolitan Washington Old Time Radio Club, Big Band Society, Classic Chevy Club, Washington Volvo Club, Washington Airline Society and Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity.
He was known and beloved as the Caboose Park Ranger - where he greeted walkers and bike riders at the old caboose in Bluemont Park, Arlington.
Sedge traveled all over the country and the world and loved meeting new people everywhere he went. He talked with any and everyone and was always so pleasant and happy.
A graveside funeral will be held at Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington.
