Beloved wife of the late Jerome Garfinkel; devoted mother of Douglas (Judy) Garfinkel and Jennifer Garfinkel; loving grandmother of Jason Avrum Garfinkel and Alex Jerome Garfinkel; sister of Betty Palestrant and the late Morton Schwartz. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2015, 12:00 p.m. at Washington Hebrew Congregation, 3935 Macomb St., NW, Washington, DC 20016. Interment at 2:00 p.m. at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA. Family will be observing Shiva Tuesday and Wednesday evening at Ingleside at King Farm in Rockville, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to the United States Holocaust Museum.
