

Stephen (Steve) Anthony DePasquale of Miami Beach, Florida, passed away at home on Thursday, September 8, 2016. He was the son of Nancy DePasquale and the late Tony DePasquale, and brother of John, Thomas, and Charles DePasquale. He left behind nephews Johnny, Michael, David, and Luke, and nieces Laura and Lena. Steve was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Vienna, VA. He went to George C. Marshall High School, Falls Church, VA and later graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA to become a successful CPA. He started his career with Peat Marwick at their New York City and Los Angeles offices before joining his brother Tom’s start-up company, RelTech, which was later acquired by Platinum Technologies. Steve continued as a Senior Vice President before he and Tom started a second company, OutTask, which they later sold to Concur. Over the past several years, Steve was a start-up investor in several technology ventures and supported several mergers and acquisitions. Steve was a witty, funny, smart, interesting, kind, caring and emphatic Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Friend and will be missed by all.
Friends may attend the viewing at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 West Broad Street, Falls Church, VA from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday, September 18. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 8601 Wolf Trap Rd., Vienna, VA, on Monday, September 19 at 10:30 am.
