Timothy was born in Arlington, Virginia, to Patricia and Thomas Cole on October 13, 1961. He attended school in Falls Church, Virginia.
He retired from Aerojet and worked for Fairfax County Public Schools before his illness.
He was the SAL Commander of American Legion Post 1976 in Annandale, Virginia.
Timothy is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Cole; father, Thomas Leonard Cole; brother, Jeffrey Cole; and sister, Barbara Tucker.
Timothy is survived by his brother, Thomas Edward Cole, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, 6 grand-nephews, and 2 grand-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Inova Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia, or Capital Caring Health in Falls Church, Virginia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, at National Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia. Burial will follow at National Memorial Park, after which a reception will be held at the American Legion Post 1976, 4206 Daniels Avenue, Annandale, Virginia.
