Tin Young Yuen

With deep love and gratitude for his life, the family of Tin Young Yuen announces his peaceful passing at GWU Hospital on September 4, 2025, at the age of 94.

Born in August 24, 1931, Tin spent most of his life in Washington, D.C., where he and his late wife, Lou Ching Yuen, built a home and raised their family with love, devotion, and hard work. Their life together was a true partnership, filled with resilience and joy, and the family takes comfort in knowing they are now reunited.

Tin's greatest pride and joy was his family. A devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he was affectionately known as "Yeh Yeh" and "Gung Gung." He offered his grandchildren not only care and guidance but also countless hours of stories, laughter, and wisdom. His steady presence and quiet strength left an imprint on every generation of his family.

Before retiring, Tin worked for many years as a restaurant manager, where his work ethic and kindness were deeply respected by colleagues and customers alike. Beyond his career, he cherished life's simple pleasures-days at the horse racetrack, visits to Atlantic City, and above all, time spent surrounded by his loved ones.

He is survived by his six children: Maggie W. Chan, Sunny Yuen, Peter Yuen, Selina Yuen, Thomas Yuen, and Nelson Yuen; 15 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. His love, humility, and generosity continue to live on through them.

Family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate Tin's life on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the National Funeral Home and Memorial Park. A viewing will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service and burial at 2:00 PM.

Tin's legacy is one of devotion to family, quiet strength, and enduring love. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

我們懷著無比的愛與感恩，沉痛告訴大家，摯愛的父親、祖父與曾祖父 袁天榮 於2025年9月4日，在喬治華盛頓大學醫院（GWU Hospital）安詳辭世，享年94歲。

袁先生生於1931年8月，一生大部分時間居住於華盛頓特區。他與已故的妻子盧靜蓮在此建立家庭，以勤奮與愛心撫育兒女，並締造了充滿溫情與喜樂的人生。他們的婚姻是堅毅與忠誠的見證，令家人們欣慰的是，他們如今得以再次團聚。

袁先生一生以家庭為榮。他是慈愛的父親、祖父及曾祖父，大家親切地稱呼他為「爺爺」與「公公」。他不僅悉心照顧孫輩，更以無數的故事、笑聲與智慧陪伴他們成長。他穩重的性格與無私的愛，深深烙印在家族的每一代人心中。

在退休之前，袁先生多年擔任餐館經理，以勤奮與仁厚贏得同事與顧客的尊敬。在工作之外，他亦享受生活中的點滴樂趣──無論是賽馬場上的時光、前往大西洋城的旅程，或是單純地與家人共聚一堂，皆令他無比歡欣。

他身後留下六位子女：陳慧敏、袁新義、袁彼得、袁詩蓮、袁湯馬士、袁力臣；以及15位孫兒與7位曾孫。他的謙和、仁愛與精神，將永遠在家人之中延續。

誠邀親友一同追思袁先生的一生：追思會將於**2025年9月12日（星期五）**在全國殯儀館及紀念公園（National Funeral Home and Memorial Park）舉行。中午12時舉行瞻仰遺容，下午2時舉行安息禮拜與安葬儀式。

袁先生的一生，見證了他對家庭的奉獻、沉靜的力量，以及永恆的愛。雖然他已離我們而去，但他的精神與愛將長存於所有認識他的人心中。
