William H. Spalding Jr. Captain Retired Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Services (FCFRS) On October 12, 2013 Captain William H. Spalding passed peacefully after a brief hospitalization. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years Katherine T. Spalding. He leaves behind his daughter Sharon Marie Johnson (Husband Ronald), Son, William Douglas Spalding (Wife Theresa) five grandchildren, Ashley and Katherine Johnson, Kendall, Holly and Douglas (DJ) Spalding and a great granddaughter Skylar Lynn Speelman.
Services will be held at National Funeral Home at 7482 Lee Highway Falls Church, VA 22042 With visitation on Thursday 10/17/2013 2-4 and 6-8 With Service on Friday 10/18/2013 at 1:00 pm. With reception to follow at Vienna Volunteer Fire Department.
