Won Cha Chung, a beloved member of the Vienna, VA community, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2024, at the age of 91. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness cherished by her family and friends.
She is survived by her devoted son, Ui Kyong Chung, and his wife, Maria; her loving daughter, Sue Pak, and her husband, Kyu Chan; and her four cherished grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, In Kyo, and her youngest son, Ui Hoon.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Virginia Korean SDA Church for their spiritual support and Dr. James Suh for his dedicated care. Special thanks also go to Eden Senior Care for their compassionate services.
Won Cha Chung will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.
A visitation for Won will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. A graveside services will occur Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at National Funeral Home.
