Beatrice A. Hermann

Beatrice A. Hermann, 55 year resident of Bethpage, peacefully passed away on April 9th, 2020, at the age of 91. Reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 50 years, Robert. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Frances and Joseph Ostermeier. Cherished grandmother of Joseph and Kimberly. Devoted sister and sister-in-law of Catherine and Richard Wieber and aunt to Richard and Thomas (Carolyn) Wieber.  She is predeceased in death by her brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Jean Arrigo and her parents Albert and Frances Arrigo. Bea enjoyed to be called “Gam Gam”, a testament to her deep love for her family. She had a joy for life that is rare to find. She almost always had a smile on her face and loved to bring a smile to everyone else’s too. She could find enjoyment in the simplest of things, like housework and cooking. She enjoyed the exciting parts of life as well, like her trips to the casino. Most of all, she enjoyed caring for others without ever making them feel like it was an effort on her part. She was a generous and loving woman who will be missed more than words can express. Her ability to spread love and happiness is now a gift she will continue to use in heaven as the angel she always was. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will have a private interment at The Cemetery of the Holy Rood Tuesday, April 14th. The family hopes to have a celebration of Bea's life in the future.
