Estelle Herrmann

Estelle Herrmann (née Boyd), age 100, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, in Bethpage, New York. Born on May 12, 1925, in Brooklyn, New York, Estelle lived a full century marked by love, laughter, and enduring devotion to her family and community.

Estelle was the beloved wife of the late Jacob Herrmann. Together they built a life filled with warmth and hospitality, raising their family in a home that she cherished for an extraordinary 74 years. Her home was more than just a place—it was a haven where memories were made and where neighbors became lifelong friends.

She is lovingly remembered by her son Raymond Herrmann and his wife Cindy; her daughter Linda O'Connell and her husband Kenneth as well as her grandchildren Alison (Marc), Frederick, and Kristin and her great grandsons, Riley and Beckett. Known affectionately as "Nana," Estelle held a special place in the hearts of those who knew her.

A loving mother and grandmother, Estelle was also known for her vibrant spirit and generous heart. She had a gift for bringing people together—whether through festive gatherings or quiet moments shared over tea. A party thrower extraordinaire, she welcomed everyone with a smile that lit up the room.

An avid reader throughout her life, Estelle found joy in books and the stories they told. Her curiosity and love of learning remained strong even into her later years.

Estelle’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched—with kindness, grace, and an open heart. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A Visitation will be held on January 7, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arthur F. White Funeral Home 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale, NY 11735. Religious service at 7:00 PM.
