Harriett Ann Kane

Kane, Harriett Ann, 84, longtime resident of Bethpage passed away October 8, 2024. Reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Whitey. Loving mother of Guy, Gregg (Sandra), Gary, and Allison Lynch (Charles). Treasured grandmother of Heather Rinaldi (Michael), Thomas, Mary, Dennis, and Peter. Cherished great-grandmother of Michael and Agatino. Dear sister of Billy Meyers, the late Thomas Meyers, and the late Richard Meyers. Devoted aunt of Thomas Meyers (Jennifer) and William Meyers, and great-aunt of Madelynn and Macey. Harriett was a loving, compassionate, kind, giving, and devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was her entire world, and she loved being a part of their lives. Harriett never missed an activity, sporting event, or school event for her children or grandchildren. She was a great cook, and made sure to call all her children to let them know she was leaving food out so they could pop in and eat during their busy lives. Harriett was a huge Mets fan, loved to garden, watch tennis, and play mahjong. She loved to talk, if she caught you at the food store, or on the street, she could keep the conversation going for hours. Harriett will be forever missed for her dedication to her family, selflessness, and huge heart. The family will receive visitors Thursday, October 10th, 3-8 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Service Thursday, October 10th, 4pm at the funeral home. Cremation Private.
