James W. Fogarty

Fogarty, James W., 89, formerly of Williston Park, NY, Dominican Village of Amityville, and most recently of Stony Brook, passed away March 11, 2023. Retired FDNY firefighter, and proud U.S. Air Force Veteran. Reunited in heaven with his beloved wife of 59 years, Joan. Loving father of Donna Fogarty Lang (Edward Lang), Patricia Fogarty Judd (the late Frederick Judd), Marianne Fogarty, James G. Fogarty, Kathleen Fogarty-Boyle (James Boyle) and the late Eileen Fogarty. Cherished grandfather of Kris Macaluso, Dana Macaluso (Matthew Kalkau), Timothy Fogarty, Kelly Fogarty, Erin Fogarty, Michael Lang, Shannon Boyle, and Sean Boyle. Dear brother of Michael Fogarty. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, March 15th, 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Service Wednesday, March 15th, 7 pm at the funeral home. Family and friends will gather Thursday, March 16th, 10 am at the funeral home for interment interment  at Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn.  In honor of James'  service to  our country, in lieu of flowers please send a donation to Long Island State Veterans Home (100 Patriots Road, Stony Brook, NY  11790).
