Jean Vosen

Vosen, Jean, 72, of North Massapequa passed away after a long battle with Myotonic Dystrophy on January 8, 2024. Reunited in Heaven with her beloved daughter, Jamie, her loving parents Gerald and Sarafina Altmann and cherished siblings, Gerald Altmann and Judy Landsman. Treasured sister of Joyce Flanagan (Tom) and sister-in-law to Gary Landsman. Adored aunt of Tara, Brian, Margo, and Ronan. Dear friend to many. Jean was kind, sweet, and the life of the party. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, and going anywhere she could find the sun. Jean enjoyed taking things apart, figuring out how they work and putting them back together, playing games on the ipad and of course, telling stories and picking on her sister, Joyce. Many people may say that they live for their children, but Jamie was truly the light of Jeans life. The incredible bond they shared along with the dedication, love and support that she gave Jamie throughout the years was indescribable. Although she will be forever missed, there is a sense of comfort knowing that Jean and Jamie are together again. The family will receive visitors Thursday, January 11th, 11 am-1:30 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Prayer Service Thursday, January 11th, 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment following at Amityville Cemetery.
