

Santiago, John Michael, 54, of Amity Harbor, passed away on October 31, 2022. Reunited in Heaven with his beloved parents, Enrique and Mildred. Cherished brother of Roxanne (Orlando). Loving uncle of Emilia (Russ) and Sarah (David), and great-uncle of Connor, Kiera, Olivia, Carly, and Adam. John dedicated his life to caring for his family. Once his parents became elderly, he took care of them in their home until his father passed in 2015 and his mother passed in August of 2022. John and his sister Roxanne were extremely close and loved each other dearly. In high school, he was the base player in The No Frills Boogie Band. John was a talented and passionate guitar player. After high school, he ran a furniture and home shop with his friend for a few years. Then he went to CW Post and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 average and became an x-ray technician. He loved being able to help and care for people. John had gentle soul and was a genuinely kind person and we will truly miss him. John visited Amity Irons Tattoo on a regular basis and on their Instagram page they tributed to him saying: “RIP Johnny Deuce. An eloquent and prolific speaker of truths. A dedicated son. A musician. Curator of the history of horror movies. A most welcome friend in our home. A man who will be missed terribly by us all.” The family will receive visitors Saturday, November 5th, 2-4 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Service Saturday, November 5th, 3:30 pm at the funeral home. Cremation private.
