Patricia Ann Spencer

Spencer, Patricia Ann, longtime Bethpage resident passed away November 14, 2022, at the age of 85. Reunited in Heaven with her loving husband of 49 years, George. Treasured mother of Patricia A. Ryan and George (Moira). Adored grandmother of Kieran, Kelly Sitler (Derek), Sean and Deirdre. Beloved sister of Virginia Connolly (Richard), the late Ann Richards (James) and the late Margaret Clifford. Dear sister-in-law of Veronica Spencer. Also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends. Devoted parishioner of St. Martin of Tours RC Church and member of the Young at Heart. Patricia was a spit fire, always making everyone laugh, with her quick wit and sassy, sarcastic attitude. She was strong willed and always spoke her mind. Although she came up with some creative, infamous phrases, her families favorite was when she would say “you rotten kids”. Pat enjoyed socializing and was the life of every party. She looked forward to her weekly lunch dates at McDonald’s and Jersey Mike’s with her friends. Pat’s family was her world, and she did whatever she could to spend time with them. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she was so proud to be a grandma. Pat made many memories with her family on their annual vacations to Villa Roma. She never passed up an opportunity to play the slots at the casino or play bingo with friends and family. Pat was simple to please when it came to food options, she loved mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and was a crumb cake aficionado. When dining out, if Pat couldn’t find an entrée she liked, she would order dessert for dinner. Pat’s legacy of love and laughter will live on in her family's hearts forever. She was truly loved by all and will be forever missed. The family will receive visitors Thursday, November 17th, 2-4 and 7-9pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Friday, November 18th, 10 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Interment following at The Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury.
