Thompson, Walter J, 80, of Farmingdale, passed away December 9, 2023 Beloved husband of Theresa. Cherished brother of Beverly Cadunzi. Loving brother-in-law of Patricia Arnone (Robert) and Nicholas D’Ambrosio (Colleen). Proud uncle to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Proud United States Air Force Veteran. Over 35 years’ experience as an aircraft maintenance mechanic with Pan Am, TWA and United Airlines. The family will receive visitors Thursday, December 14th, 2-5 & 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Friday, December 15th, 11 am at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment following at Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.
