Yolanda E. “Yo” Caroppoli

Caroppoli, Yolanda E., "Yo", 95, of Fresh Meadows passed away on February 24, 2023. Predeceased by her beloved parents, Raphaele and Asunta Delligatti and her loving siblings, Marjorie Rosolio, Rose Fazio and George Delligatti. Cherished aunt of the late Joy Izzo, Leonard Rosolio, Ralph Delligatti, Thomas Fazio (Marty) and Robert Delligatti. Adored great-aunt of Jessica Sheahan (Rick), Kristin Wolff (David) and the late Steven Nelson (Rachel). Treasured great-great-aunt of Skyler Spangler, Michael Sheahan, Thomas Spangler, Emma Sheahan and Noah Spangler. Dear cousin of Linda Napolitano. Yolanda was a huge Rangers Fan and hockey fan. She was giving, loving, outgoing, independent and wonderful inside and out. Yo was the life of every party, always having a good time, making everyone feel happy and welcome. She was a second mother to everyone and treasured making memories with her family. Yolanda was a talented seamstress not only by profession but also, hobby.  She enjoyed dark chocolate, crosswords, watching re-runs of Friends on TV, listening to Big Band music and watching any movie with Brad Pitt. Yo loved to watch horror movies so much that she would have horror movie marathons in the basement with the lights off and would invite everyone who was adventurous enough to participate. She was proud to be from Corona, New York and loved to tell stories about her experiences. Yolanda will be forever missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, February 28th, 9-10:30 am at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Tuesday, February 28th, 11 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Cremation Private.
