Born October 19, 1938 at Cliff Top, WV, she was the daughter of the late Homer H. Hedrick and Lillie Mae Permenter Hedrick and the last member of her immediate family.
She was a 1957 graduate of Fayetteville High School and praised Mrs. Sarah Arritt for taking a special interest in her and helping her graduate. She lived her life for her family and was very proud of each one of them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Homer Jr., Larry, Eugene and Arthur Lee; one sister Linda Bryant; one son, Everette Holland Blake; and one son-in-law, Charles Jacobowski.
Left to cherish her memory is her “Give me a ride home from the Christmas party date”, the love of her life, Harold L. Blake, Jr. They were married for 60 years.
