that was my grandma she would always give me a big hug when I came to see her I miss her very much. I will never ever forget all your big hugs.

Callie, my hero !!  Callie and Harold took me in when I was 16 and needed a home. I was treated as one of their own children, love, kindness, and oh yes, discipline  too.
   The  wonderful meals we shared as a family. Callie was a wonderful cook, and her peanut butter candy, none other could compare.
    Callie was my Mother in everyway,  I will always cherish my  memories of her, hold her dear to my heart. I will never forget Callie and my extended family.
     Rest easy Callie, you are with God and his angels now.

Aunt Callie was my favorite of all. She was as much as a mother to me as to her own. My fondest memory of. her was the day we spent making doll cloths.    Of course they were all hung on the wall, we were finished about the. Time Harold Came in from work. You’ll have to to ask how he felt about that. But she  didn’t neglect her meal for. I can still smell that Hugh pot of garlic spaghetti. She was a great cook. I’ll miss her roles the most. I would love to have that recipe.  🥲🥰stay strong , I’ll think of you often. Trilby

Dear Family, I always enjoyed your Mom so much at the family reunions years ago.  She was such a proud lady about her children.  I’m sure that continued with the grands.   She and my parents (Aunt Ruth and Uncle Carlos) always struck up a conversation usually about “kids”.   I have so often wondered about each of  you .  Sorry this is the time that I find you.  Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Ann 

Where do I begin?  Aunt Calle was so much more than an aunt.  She and Harold took me and my sister (Angie) in as one of their own for months when we were very young.  We were treated with nothing but kindness and unconditional love.  We became their "two other daughters" when they had 8 children of their own.  I will never forget the time we spent there and missed it greatly when we had to move away.  Callie would make you laugh with her sense of humor but she also spoke her mind in only a way she could:)   We got to see her and Harold back in May and it was like going home again, talking about the younger years, laughing and crying at the same time.  

I could have only dreamed of having a mother like her growing up. She will forever be missed by so many but God was ready for her to come home and never have to suffer again.   

My heart goes out to everyone who knew her, especially to Uncle Harold and her children and grandchildren.   I love you Aunt Callie, thank you for all you did for me and Angie and many more. You will forever live in our hearts. 

To Denise, Debbie, Tammy, Rhonda, Myra, Belinda and Butch: May God hold you in the palm of His hands..

What a beautiful lady and so kind..she raised many beautiful children with kind hearts..Fly High, Rest in Peace Callie Mae Blake..you were loved by many...

I remember that beautiful smile and the way her eyes always lit up when she would see me.
