Charlotte grew up in Oak Hill, West Virginia. In high school, she was the head majorette of the Oak Hill marching band.
After leaving high school, she married the love of her life Donald Lee Yarber and started their own family. In seven years and one day, she had seven kids. She was a homemaker while raising all of her kids that she loved dearly.
Later in life she enjoyed crocheting, cooking, going to auctions, and more than anything having family and friends over to visit and catch up with.
Charlotte will truly be missed by all of her family and friends as she was a pillar of our family.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents John and Nellie Dixon, brother John Dixon, sister Blanche Howe, husband Donald Yarber, and sons Donald Yarber Jr, Steve Yarber, Dennis Yarber.
Left to cherish her memories are Sister-in- Law Barbara Dixon, sisters Sue Dixon, and Anita Buchanan and husband David, Brother Michael Dixon and wife Cris, Daughters Cynthia Turner and husband John, Diana Conway and husband Ron, sons Craig Yarber and wife Dianne, John Yarber and wife Bobbi, grandsons Donald Yarber III and wife Mandy, Ian Yarber, Brian Yarber, Chris Yarber and wife Kristy, Shane Yarber, Cody Conway and fiancé Lindsay, Brack Morgan and companion Liz, Casey Morgan, Zeth Yarber and wife Cynthia, Steven Yarber Jr., Wesley Yarber and wife Brittany, Elijah Yarber and wife Whitney, granddaughters, Shannon Blackburn, and Anna Yarber, and 26 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at Dodd Payne Hess Funeral Home at 12 PM Wednesday, February 21st 2024. Burial will be directly after at Pleasant View Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at 11 AM at the Funeral Home.
