

She was born on July 19, 1934, at Ohley, WV. She was the daughter of the late Ethel Davis and Gentry Tincher.
Delores was a member of Fayetteville Baptist Church, and she was especially fond of all the ladies in her Sunday School Class.
She loved being a homemaker for her husband of 68 years, Jim, and her two sons, Mike and Robert.
Delores was known for her absolutely stunning blue eyes, her fabulous quilts, and her yummy home-made rolls and cookies. Her favorite thing to do was spending time at her camp in Pendleton County, WV, with Jim, her family and her friends.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, James Lively; brothers, James Tincher, Robert “Ike” Tincher, Gene “Duke” Tincher, and Gentry “Butch” Tincher; and beloved daughter-in-law, Delores “Booty” Lively.
Survivors include her two sons, James Michael (Donna) Lively of Nettie, WV, and Robert Lee (Regina) Lively of Myrtle Beach, SC; eight grandchildren; ten great-grand children; and several nieces and nephews.
Our family wants to send out special thanks to each and every caregiver at her home, Hidden Valley Center, and Bowers Hospice House who helped her through her 11 year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Pastor Ron George, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville, WV.
The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral services at the funeral home on Thursday.
