Rhonda Marie Cox

Born December 27th, 1983 at Beckley, WV. She was the daughter of Carl Blaine Cox and the late Teresa Allene Bays Cox.

Rhonda enjoyed spending her time camping and fishing, but her main focus was loving her family and her babies, which were her world, along with her nieces and nephews. Rhonda attended Midland Trail High School, where she graduated valedictorian in 2002. From there she attended Mountain State University, and Concord University, from which she graduated with multiple degrees. Rhonda worked for US Cellular for eight years. She also attended Virginia Street Baptist Church in Oak Hill, having a close and loving relationship with her church family.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her husband, James Neal; her mother, Teresa Bays Cox; a brother, Carl Blaine Cox Jr., and both maternal and paternal grandparents.Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Carlie and Gracie Cox; a son, Eli Cox; her dad, Carl Cox; a brother, Clifford (Amber) Cox; a sister, Melissa Gillispie and nieces and nephews, Carl Cox III, Mckenzie Cox, Clifford Cox Jr, Ariana, Isabella, Parker, Haley, Emma, Chloe, and Noah Gillispie.

Funeral services will be held at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home in Fayetteville, WV on Wednesday, February 9th, 2022 at 1PM with Doug Holley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial will follow at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville.
