Mr. William R. Holstine

William Robert “Bill” Holstine, 64, of Oak Hill, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill, following a short illness. Born on December 4, 1950 at Fayetteville, he was the son of the late Robert Earl and Dorothy Lee Cody Holstine. Bill graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1972 and was a retired truck driver for Exxon. He enjoyed working with tools, trains, and spending time with his family. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dencil Cody; niece, Emily Dawn Bickford; brother, Michael George Holstine; and nephew, Jayden Holstine. Left to cherish his memory include his brother, John Holstine Sr. and his wife, Melissa; sons, Kevin Holstine and wife, Katherine, Jeremy Holstine and wife, Michelle; and Tim Holstine; nieces and nephew, Karrie Ann, Samantha, John Jr., and Hannah; and grandchildren, Christopher, Kevin Jr., Autumn, Halie Bug, River, and Colby. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1 PM, Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Private graveside services will be held later.
