

December 4th, 2013. He passed peacefully surrounded by family and is now free from pain and
with Our Lord. Edward was born to Francisco and Senaida Villa on January 9th, 1922 in what is
now known as La Puente, California. He lived a great life married to Josephine Ramirez Villa for
61 years, he was a simple man who treasured his family and who's hobbies included raising
cattle, gardening, camping and listening to Dodger games on warm summer nights. He loved
the outdoors and would frequent the Sierra's where he would camp, stream fish and hunt. He
proudly served in the U.S. Army and worked as a Rancher for 30 years before he retired.
He is survived by his 2 daughters and 3 sons, Sadie Jaramillo, Delia Tovar, husband Pete,
Edward Jr, wife Carol, Frank, wife Valerie, Jesse Jaramillo, wife Yvonne,11 grandchildren, 28
great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Edward was preceded in death on
November 28th, 2009 by his wife Josephine.
Services are as follows: Rosary, Sunday December 15th at 7:00 pm, San Salvador Mission,
Piru, California. Mass, Monday December 16th at 10:00 am, San Salvador Mission with
Interment immediately following at Piru Cemetery. Celebration of Edwards life to be held at Britt
Park following his interment.
Edward was an amazing man, a living example of old family values, beliefs and his legacy will
live on through all who truly knew him.
