

Silda was born in Guayama, PR to Fruto Oso & Catalina (Feliciano) Vasquez on April 20, 1941. She is survived by her husband Frank of almost 63 years, her daughters Yvette Carlton & Diana Paiva, her sons Frank Jr & Albin Mulero and grandchildren Spencer Carlton, Joshua Carlton, Eric Mulero and Ashleigh Mulero. Silda is also preceded in death by her grandson Jamison Mulero and her sister Carmen Figueroa.
As a teenager, Silda moved to NYC and upon graduating high school, enrolled and graduated from Hairdressing School. She met her future husband Frank at church in NYC and married on June 23, 1962. For 20 years Silda and her family lived in New England and then in 1989, moved to Palm Coast, FL where she resided until 2023.
For 54 years she pursued her work as a beautician. Silda loved her trade and was known for being a hard worker and always looked for ways to help and serve others.
Along with her family, Silda’s greatest joy came from her faithful service to the Lord. For over 30 years she loved and was so loved by the little ones she cared for and taught in Sunday School at the First Baptist Church of Palm Coast. Silda was also well known for opening her pool to the church youth groups, to host Birthday parties and to her neighbors.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 11:00 am Friday Feb 21, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Palm Coast 6050 Palm Coast Pkwy NW, Palm Coast, FL 32137, followed by a time of joyful fellowship.
Burial will take place at 2:00 pm on the grounds of Craig Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Fl 32136.
