Born on October 11, 1937, in Brandonville, Pennsylvania, Cliff was the son of Clifford L. and Mae Mensinger Kehley. After graduating from high school, he made his way to Brooklyn, New York, where he met the love of his life, Helen. The two were married on May 9, 1959, beginning a devoted partnership that would span 64 wonderful years.
Cliff and Helen built their life together in Brooklyn for a decade before settling in Maple Shade, New Jersey, where they raised their family. In 2005, they retired to Palm Coast, Florida, embracing a new chapter filled with sunshine and relaxation.
A hardworking and determined man, Cliff proudly owned and operated his own forklift trucking company for many years. Beyond his work, he was deeply committed to his community, volunteering for many years with the Maple Shade Lions Club, and the Maple Shade Volunteer Fire Department, where he formed lasting friendships and gave generously of his time.
Cliff had a zest for life and simple pleasures. He enjoyed trips to the casino, watching NASCAR races, and traveling to his favorite destinations including Las Vegas, Dollywood, and Branson, Missouri. He found joy in listening to country music, savoring a cold Yuengling beer, and indulging his well-known sweet tooth—especially when it came to ice cream and just about any kind of cake.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen, whose memory he cherished deeply.
Cliff is survived by his loving children, Clifford, Richard, and Deborah (Ron) Perkins; his grandchildren, Jason (Kathleen), Zachary (Kaitlyn), Joseph, and Veronica; and two great-grandchildren, Emmaline and Nathan, who brought him immense pride and happiness. He is also survived by his brothers, Irvin “Sonny” Kehley, Thomas (Judy) Kehley, and Robert (Debbie) Kehley; his sisters, Lois Cleary and Joanne (Andrew) Morabito; as well as many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
Cliff will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a man who found joy in the people and moments that mattered most. His warmth, humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, April 23, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, with a service to follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will take place at Flagler Memorial Gardens.
