Daniel F. Boyle

Daniel F. Boyle 81, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away on February 7, 2022 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family after a yearlong battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born on February 9, 1940 in Richmond Hill, New York to the late Francis Daniel and Edwina Ellen Boyle. Daniel enlisted in the United States Navy after graduating from High School. He served on the USS Benham. Once he received his honorable discharge he followed in the foot steps of 3 generations before him working as a locomotive engineer for the Long Island Railroad. After 30 years of service he retired. In 1994 he moved to Flagler Beach to enjoy the warm Florida sunshine. His memberships included the Tin Can Sailors, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, “HOG” Harley Owners Group. Daniel’s greatest passion was riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed classic cars, traveling and solving jigsaw puzzles. Survivors include his significant other Che` Geeting; children Steven Boyle, Diana Boyle, Daniel Boyle, Theresa (Wayne) Vagts, Michael (Carolyn) Boyle; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Edward (Helene) Boyle, Edwina (Frank) Fantino, Frankie (Robin) Boyle and many more loving relatives and wonderful friends.

A visitation for Daniel will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136. An interment with military honors will occur Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218.
