Daniel Ensminger

Daniel Ensminger, 90, from Palm Coast Florida died peacefully in his sleep March 19th 2023 at Stuart F Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast FL. He was born the oldest of eight on August 30th 1932 to David and Loretta Ensminger in Cincinnati OH.

Dan graduated from Saint Henry Catholic School in Erlanger KY in 1950 He then spent 4 years in the US Navy. After which he attended University of Miami in 1958 to 1961 Were he received his Electrical Engineering Degree. He also attended Florida Institute of Technology from 1965 to 1967.

He had a thriving career with GE Aerospace from 1965 to 1992. He would later work as a Quality Consultant for Baxter from 2000 to 2014.

Dan is proceeded in death by his parents David and Loretta, three wives Jacqualine, Genevieve and Jeanne, three brothers Clarence, Raymond and Gayle, two sisters Joletta and Laverne and son John.

Dan is Survived by sister Eileen and brother Frank both from KY, three daughters Debra (Kurt) Kuester, Karen (Newton) White and Lisa Huff all from FL, two step-sons Danny (Jennifer) Schmidt and Michael (Sue) Schmidt both from TX, nine grand-children and three great-grandchilden.

There will be no service only a private gathering. In lieu of flowers Please feel free to donate to the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association or Florida Hospice. Daniel is home with the angels now. He was well loved by all friends and family He will Forever be in Our Hearts.
