Deborah Kay Pettit, (5-1-1955 to 9-17-2022) sometimes called 'Debbie' or 'Deb', sadly passed away early Saturday morning. She was in ill health, but recently had been doing better. Her death was an unexpected shock.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Flagler Beach.
Debbie loved the beach. She left a lucrative factory position in Ohio to follow her dream of living in a beach community. She enjoyed making and sharing her crafty handiwork. Family members would be surprised by receiving beach ornaments or homemade cards. She also loved Facebook games.
Debbie was proceeded in death by her mother, Lona Malissa (Jack) and father, Harry Glen Pettit. She also lost her brother: Richard Alan Pettit; and sisters: Tammy Lee Armstrong and Toni Lynn Llewellyn. Her nephew: Christopher Raul Calderon also passed away earlier.
She will be sorely missed by her remaining sisters: Linda Hensler, Palm Coast,Fl; Bryn Fantone Wells, Flagler Beach, Fl; and Kelly (Howard) Henry, Huntington, WV.
She loved her 15 nieces and nephews. She was especially close to some since she had no children of her own. She always enjoyed their visits.
