Dolores Faith Ruby

Dolores Ruby was born on October 4, 1933 in Bushwick, Brooklyn and returned to the Kingdom of God on January 10, 2026. Dolores loved her family and friends with all her heart. She also loved the New York Mets, watching any game she could get on TV. Dolores married Frank Ruby in 1958 and moved to Long Island in 1967. After raising her family on Long Island Dolores moved to Palm Coast, Florida in 1994 where she lived the rest of her life. Dolores was a faithful member of the church and was involved with many other organizations including the West Babylon Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary where she was President. She loved going on vacations such as trips to Europe, Las Vegas and many cruises. She also loved visiting her parents and family in Monroe, Maine. Dolores loved playing games such as Bingo, mahjong, card and board games..She also enjoyed playing nickel slot machine games.

Dolores is survived by her husband Frank, children Keith and Kristine, daughter in law Karen, son in law John, and her two grandchildren Alec and Nicole. She is also survived by her sister Linda and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Tunnel to Towers foundation (T2T.org).

A visitation will be held at Craig-Flagler Palms, located at 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, FL, 32136, on January 14, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The funeral service will follow at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, at the same address, commencing at 4:00 pm on January 14, 2026. She will be laid to rest at Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island, New York.
