October 29, 1972 – April 12, 2025
Donald Jerome Locchi, 52, of Flagler Beach, Florida—formerly of Lubbock, Texas and Brockton, Massachusetts—passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025.
Born on October 29, 1972, in Boston, Massachusetts, Don was the beloved son of Jerome Locchi and Barbara Gallagher. He grew up in the Boston area, where he developed a lifelong passion for the Red Sox and Patriots, a love that never faded no matter where life took him.
Don proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, specializing in law enforcement and weapons security. His ten years of service laid the foundation for a distinguished civilian career focused on security and defense. Most recently, he brought his expertise and dedication to ACOEM – Advanced Security Solutions.
Don's life was rich with love, laughter, and adventure. He found joy in the simple things—sunny days by the ocean, travel, and spirited games of Yahtzee, darts and cards. But more than anything, Don cherished time spent with family. His love for them was boundless, and his presence brought warmth and light to every gathering.
In 2019, Don married the love of his life, Stacey (Crook), beginning a beautiful chapter marked by joy and companionship. He is survived by his son, Anthony Locchi and wife Miranda of Lubbock, Texas; and by his step-sons, Brandon and Teren Shandor of Abilene, Texas. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Acelynn Shandor of Abilene.
Don is also survived by his father, Jerome J. Locchi and partner Elena Kleinbergs of Chelmsford, Massachusetts; his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Lawrence Gallagher of Green Acres, Florida; his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Michael Roan of Bridgewater, Massachusetts; and his brother and sister-in-law, Gino and Mariah Locchi of Franklin, Massachusetts. And his loving nieces and nephews.
Don’s enormous heart, infectious smile, and unwavering loyalty will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home. A celebration of Don’s life will follow at 2:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Dr. Wiley Lowe.
