

Mr. Perry was born July 25, 1933, in Fall River, MA, a son of Gardner W. Perry & Frances Coughlin Perry.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas. He served four years in active duty, stationed at Ramey Air Force Base in Puerto Rico, and was a proud veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Perry then served four years in the Reserves. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as an aircraft mechanic for Pan American Airways in New York. Following that, he worked for City Housing New York as an elevator mechanic, then went to work for Walt Disney World as Epcot Support Maintenance. He retired in 1995 and moved to Palm Coast. Mr. Perry was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, fixing clocks, watches, and enjoyed making jewelry. Mr. Perry was proud of his Native American heritage. He was a member of the Pocasset Wampanoag Tribe, and his name was Eagle Claw Perry.
His wife, Elizabeth Jane Ehring died in 1978. He married Donna Ann Horner in 1997. Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Robert F. Perry of Lakeland, FL, and Dana Perry Johnson of Lincolnton, NC. One grandchild, Kalyn Alexander Johnson of Lincolnton, NC, and nephews, Robert Boulanger, Charles Hofer, Craig Hofer, Brian Hofer, and Mike Hofer. And nieces, Christine Scalzo, Kathy Pakula, Marianne Hofer, and Lynn Mattoon.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gardner Perry, and Earl ”Dixie” Perry, and his sisters, Jean Gordon and Delores Lee.
